m. Nov 1727 - Joseph Jackson1728 - 1783
Facts and Events
Joseph's date of birth in November 1728 coincides with his mother's year of death possibly due to child birth.
From SAR Application #87846: "Joseph Jackson served under Benedict Arnold in the expedition against Quebec."
For future reference: the Source #5 SAR Application #63101 of Miss Lulie Trowbridge Hall is left here just for reference. It is unlikely that the info for the Joseph Jackson mentioned in this application is the same Joseph who was living in Ridgefield in 1768. But it is possible so the record is left here. The only other documentation we have of Joseph's death is another SAR application #87846 - Source #2.

A "Joseph Jackson (1728-90) signed the Association Test in the northeast precinct, Dutchess County, N. Y., 1775. He was born in Fairfield, Conn.; died in New York." There is the possibility that the Joseph who signed the Associate Test in Dutchess County may have been a different Joseph Jackson than the one who lived in Ridgefield, Fairfield Co., CT.
