This record has that Joseph, b 7 Mar 1756, was born in Redding, CT. But both his father and his son were born in Ridgefield, CT. Since the Jacobus book has Joseph born in Ridgefield, that appears to be the correct birth location for this Joseph.

This record appears to say that Joseph died 29 Jun 1837; but Joseph's death announcement in the newspapers says he died 29 Jan 1837. The June was probably an earlier mis-reading.
