Joseph Hout claimed by long Illness.

A retired Puget Sound sheetmetal worker and shop planning estimator, Joseph W. Hout, 65, died yesterday in Harrison Memorial hospital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Hout born Dec 15,1896, in Ashland,Wis., came to Bremerton when he was 17, and began working at PSNS. He retired in 1954. Mr. Hout a member of Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church, was for several years business agent for the local Sheetmetal Workers Union. Mr. Hout is survived by his wife, Ilo (Nell)Hout, at the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mrs. Alice Burton,Bremerton; a sister Mrs. George Botsford, Seattle; three brothers, Frank of Oakland,Calif; Ellie of Santa Clara,Calif; and Leo of Minneapolis; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial park. Lewis chapel is in charge of arrangements.
