Nellie C. (Mrs. Joseph) Hout, 80,of Rte 4,Box 41714 Port Orchard, died at her home Monday. Born Jan 22,1895 in Tulon,Ill, she came to Kitsap County in the late 1930's. She was a member of the auxillary of Grand Army of the Republic. Surviving are a nephew Robert Edwards of Port Orchard. Her husband Joseph preceded her in death in 1962. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3.30 p.m. at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangement are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Cancer Fund in care of Mrs. Ernie Rogers 2003 Second St.,Bremerton or a favorite charity.
