A PIONEER DEAD

Joseph Hawk, a Sandusky CO pioneer, died at his home four miles east of the city Wednesday. His age was 75 years, 3 months and 9 days. He was born in Fairfield Co., but has been a resident of this CO over 50 years. He was twice married and leaves a widow and twelve children. His illness lasted but 10 days. The funeral was held this morning at his late residence. Interment in McPherson cemetery at Clyde,

The deceased was the father of Mrs. W.D. Sherwood of this city.
