Information on Joseph Glass

From "Pioneers of Old Frederick Country, Virginia", by Cecil O'dell, pg. 303:

Joseph Glass (b. 1722) and his wife Elizabeth received 153½ acres by Deed of Gift from her father Robert Willson on 14 March 1760. They sold the 153 acres to Henry "Huver" (Hoover) for 210 pounds on 2 May 1774.

Joseph was deceased by 6 January 1795 when his will (dated 23 January 1792) was proved in Frederick County Court. He bequeathed his land to his eight youngest children: Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha, Ruth, David, Nancy and Sophia; this land was to remain undivided until the youngest daughter reached the age of 18. He willed 30 pounds to son Samuel, 12 pounds to son Robert and 30 pounds each to daughters Mary Hoge and Georgetta/Geonita/Garnita Willson. He mentioned his wife Elizabeth.
