This information is from a book by Jerri Fredin publ. in 1978. This family is descended from Ebenezer Fenimore and Mary ?Rhett and they lived for awhile in Ross county, OH. They may go back to William Fenimore and Martha Mott of Burlington county, NJ (which is the home of Richard Fenimore who came from England).
