RELIGION: Christian - Religious Society of Friends. Ministry: "Joseph and Isabel Binns of Cononley Woodside, travelling together ('double horse' no doubt, i.e. she was on a pillion behind him) or travelling separately, between 1757 and 1770 visited Westmorland, Lancashire, several parts of Yorkshire and also Ireland." [see Living Stones] He was always religiously inclined, although his life was attended by many trials and temptations. He received a gift in the ministry in about the year 1760 and visited Scotland and several counties in England. OBITUARY: His death was very sudden, he fell down in the shearing field when making a band and died in a few minutes. Was a man religiously exercised, his life was attended with many deep trials and temptations. He bore a Public Testimony 16 years, visited Scotland and several Counties in this Nation.
