- Jonathan Baldwin, in Find A Grave.
- Per reading 'The Baldwin Genealogy from 1500 to 1881', author Charles C. Baldwin refers to a New style/Old Style date as the year cited when directly read from the record. In this case under the year's vitals for 1649, hence 1649/50. I tend to think that the double date for Jonathan's birth & bp should be 1649/50.
The above analysis may be accurate, but since both the town record and the church record give the year as 1649 without any reference to double dating, it is prudent to leave it at that recognizing that it could be either 1648/49 or 1649/50.--jaques1724 00:23, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
