"49. Daniel3 (Baldwin) Jonathan2 Joseph,1 bapt. March 3, 1688/9, in Milford, Conn.; he m. Patience, who survived him [she died 1771 per gravestone in Meriden]. In 1728, he, with his wife, was of Wallingford, Conn., of the parish of Meriden, at the formation of the Church there. His will, 1767, mentions his wife Patience, and [four] children, all b. in Milford: … Some of the descendants of this Daniel make him the son of Daniel, son of Nathaniel. A comparison of all the Daniels, and examination of deeds in Milford Records from this Daniel, leave no doubt of the line."
