"49. Daniel³ (Baldwin) Jonathan² Joseph,¹ bapt. March 3, 1688/9, in Milford, Conn.; he m. Patience~~, who survived him~~ [she died 1771 per gravestone in Meriden]. In 1728, he, with his wife, was of Wallingford, Conn., of the parish of Meriden, at the formation of the Church there. His will, 1767, mentions his wife Patience, and [four] children, all b. in Milford: … Some of the descendants of this Daniel make him the son of Daniel, son of Nathaniel. A comparison of all the Daniels, and examination of deeds in Milford Records from this Daniel, leave no doubt of the line."
