John Whittaker: John Whittaker, son of James C. Whittaker and Mary Ann Arthur. Born 1 December 1871, at Greenville, Beaver, Utah. Married Caroline Rosalia Peterson, 5 September 1898, at Circleville, Piute, Utah. Died 9 December 1955, at Salmon, Lemhi, Idaho. Appears on Horatio Morrill's (undated) list of Kingston schoolchildren.

1880: Living in Circle Valley. 5 March 1894: Of Circleville; one of the incorporators of the East Circle Valley Canal Company, organized for "controlling and governing the East Circle Valley canal."

8 June 1897: One of the incorporators of the Circleville Irrigation Company, organized for "owning, controlling, managing and using waters for the irrigation of lands and for domestic purposes."

18 September 1897: Served as juror in State vs. Harry Mills (murder trial). 1903-04: Farming 40 acres (value: $540), at Circleville.60
