    OBITUARY :
    MR. JOHN LESLIE STOTTLEMYER, 72, well known resident of Woodsboro, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, Sept. 6. Born in LeGore he was the son of the late John and Sara Shelton Stottlemyer. He was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God, the Men's Bible Class and was a retired employee of the Chesnut Farms Dairy.

    Surviving besides his wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Chauncey Crum, Woodsboro, two brothers, Paul Stottlemyer, New Midway, Charles Stottlemyer, York, Pa., one grandson, Jerry M. Crum, Woodsboro and a number of nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends at the Barton-Stauffer Funeral Home in Walkersville Friday and Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted from the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harry A. Angle and Rev. Robert Easterday, interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
