    J. H. Stottlemyer Died Friday
    John H. Stottlemyer, age 67 died of a complication of diseases, Friday noon at
    the family home near Fortville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30
    p.m., Sunday, at the Fortville M. E. Church. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn
    cemetery.

    Mr. Stottlemyer is survived by the widow Mrs. Sadie Stottlemyer; three
    children, Thomas Stottlemyer, of Richmond; Frank Stottlemyer, at home; and Mrs.
    Carrie Shull of Fortville; three brothers, Hiram Ellsworth Stottlemyer, of
    Fortville; Charles O. Stottlemyer, of near Huntsville; and H.H. Stottlemyer of
    Anderson; a sister Mrs. Nora Rash of Fortville.

    Obituary for John H. Stottlemyer-"Aged Fortville Resident Expires"
    Fortville, March 24-Funeral services for John H. Stottlemeyer [Stottlemyer], age
    67, son of the late Hiram Stottlemyer, who died at his home, one and one-quarter
    miles south of here yesterday at noon, will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow at
    the M.E. church of Fortville. Burial will take place in Gravel Lawn cemetery.
    The deceased suffered a paralytic stroke last Sunday from which he never
    rallied. He came here from Maryland in 1880. Surviving are the widow, Mrs.
    Sadie Stottlemyer, two sons, Thomas, of Richmond and Samuel [Frank Hervey], of
    here; one daughter, Mrs. Charles O. Shull, of here; one sister, Mrs. Arthur
    Rash, and three brothers, Ed and Harvey Stottlemyer, of Anderson, and Charles of
    Huntsville.
