1806 - Baptism: John son of James SARE & Margaret his wife late Margaret WOMACK spinster was born July 30th 1806 and privately baptised August 3rd 1806.

1836 - There is a record for John SARE, corn miller, of South Lopham in White's Directory, that may be him.

1839 - John is buried near his parents and several siblings. His gravestone is granite with a cherub at the top. The footstone is granite. The memorial inscription, as transcribed by the Women's Intitute, reads: "Sacred/ to the memory of John/ the son of/ JAMES & MARGT. SARE/ who died May 16th / 1839/ in the 33rd year of his/ Age." The footstone is inscribed: J. SARE / 1839.
