[Samuel] to pay his Brother William, & to his Sisters, Mary, Jane, Sarah, Betty, Hannah & Luce ... except John the (eldest Son) who having had his share advanced to him by his father in his lifetime, I therefore excluded from this Division."
27 Apr 1772: Bond of Samuel Read Gentleman regarding settlement of "that part of the real estate of mr John Read late of Westford ... which was set off to his widow Jane (since dece'd) for her dower", he to pay William, Mary, Jane, Betty & Lucy, and to the heirs of his sister Sarah Dece'd and to the heirs of his sister Hannah Deceas'd.
