p. 23: "John [O'Killey, son of Jeremiah} born May 15, 1695"
p. 29: "John{3} O'Killey, (Jeremiah{2}, David{1}), born May 15, 1695, died ___; married February 18, 1719 Hannah Eldridge a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Nickerson) of Yarmouth, Massachusetts.
John O'Killey was a devout and worthy Quaker and a strong advocate of temperance. The evils of intemperance weighed heavily on his mind as was evidenced by his oft repeated testimony. We are reminded of this later by his son and grandson.
Hannah was a Quaker, too, and she must have been a great moral support to him and the family.
Children: Hattil born April 22, 1720, died March 8, 1809. John born March 24, 1722. Hannah born April 5, 1724. Isaac born July 8, 1730, died November 15, 1814. Rebecca born February 9, 1734."
[Note: given the record above, the date of May 15 obviously represents the author's interpretation of what "midel of may" means.]
