in the household of William and Elizabeth Morrow: John B Morrow, age 17
He is clearly not their son, as Elizabeth was only 10 years older than him. He is most likely William's nephew, son of the deceased Thomas Morrow.
- LCLH-W6F (FamilySearch Family Tree), in FamilySearch Family Tree.
Identifies his parents as Thomas Morrow and Martha Baird. This is consistent with the 1840 census, in which Thomas's household had a male aged 5-9, but not fully consistent with the 1880 census, in which John says his mother was born in Kentucky (Martha was born in Ohio according to the 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses).
