  3. I haven't found a primary source for the death date, but Winthrop Reed KendallS2 should be fairly authoritative as he was the great-grandson of John Moore. (I assume that Frank Pomeroy Wheeler's manuscript which also gives this date, is based on the above since it was published later.) We do know that John Moore was still living at the time of the 1830 US Census, so the proposed date seems consistent with known facts.
