  3. ↑ The Newberry Library's special collection website [2] says that Elizabeth (Moore) Pomeroy was Jerusha (Moore) Reed's sister. This presumably is determined by reading the correspondance of the Kendall-Reed collection there.
  4. ↑ This Elizabeth's birth is not listed in Vital Records of Warwick Source:Vital Records of Warwick, Massachusetts 1739-1850, though her marriage record there says she is of Warwick. Some sources, including American Ancestors of the Different Branches of Franklin Hoar Wheeler and of his wife Elisabeth Pomeroy Wheeler [3] give the birth as 1 Oct 1776, but this is the birthdate of Mark Moore's daughter Elizabeth that is listed in the Vital Records of Warwick, and one must suspect this is an error.
