John William Loughner, 54, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born June 5, 1947, in Greensburg, a son of William and Elizabeth Otto Loughner of Grapeville. He was a former employee of Kmart in Greensburg and Erie. John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a former member of the Erie American Legion. He enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and cooking shows on TV. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Loughner; and maternal grandfather, Leo Otto. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Overly Loughner; a son, Joseph Loughner and wife, Patti, of Jeannette; a daughter, Lisa Loughner at home; two brothers, Eric and wife, Deborah, of Virginia and Chris of Grapeville; his grandmother, Mrs. Martha Erickson of Jeannette; a niece, Ann Loughner; a nephew, David Loughner; and several aunts and uncles.
