At the request of Christian Lighter and others, deed recorded 1 June 1791 Indenture 28 May 1791 between John Lighter grandson and heir of Jacob Lighter late of Washington County, Maryland, deceased and Christian Lighter, Jacob Lighter, Peter Lighter and John Gabby of Washington County, farmers Witnesseth the said Lighter by his will did give and devise unto the said Christian LighterJacob Lighter and Peter Lighter sons of the testator and to Peter Good son-in-law several tracts of land in Washington County, Maryland and where doubts have arisen respecting the quantity of the estate in the tracts conveyed and whereas John Lighter by these present does agree absolutely to release and extinguish all his right title and interest in said tracts to Christian LighterJacob LighterPeter Lighter and John Gabby (grantee of Peter Good) John Lighter's claim is extinguished on payment of £50 by Christian LighterJacob LighterPeter Lighter and John Gabby Signed Johannes Loiter of Sunsbury County [sic], Pennsylvania
