1850 Census shows a John Laird b. 1818 in Chillicothe, Ross, Ohio, working as a tailor and married to Rachael, age 25. Children Hellen, age 4; Earnest, age 2, Rachael, age 6 mo, and Daniel G. Johnson, age 16, working as an apprentice. This could possibly be my John because his father was a hatter.

1860 Census shows Reachel Laird, age 37, seamstress, b. Ohio. Children Hellen, age 14, Irine?, female, age 10, age Edda, age 5. If John died, it would have been between 1855-1860.
