John Keyte was baptised on 17th September 1776 at Shipston-on-Stour, which was then in Worcestershire. He was the son of Mary Keyte, formerly Higgins, and her husband John Keyte. Sadly, young John died just four months later, being buried at Shipston on 31st January 1777.
