    The John who d. Kittery, ME 1716, though Mr. Savage thinks he was a brother of our George; but unless there was another of the same name at that place in 1713, it appears that the one in question was son of George; for John Ingersol of Kittery, Maine, house carpenter, sold, Nov. 1713 to his brother Joseph of Gloucester, [100 acres].
