Name also spelled John Jagerman. Baptized in New brunswick records in rutgersLibrary . the original 1717 record is not readable to me as ink faded and original is in Dutch . It is located in the special collections branch of Alexander Library Rutgers U New Brunswick NJ. the baptism is also listed in the Nj Gernealogy dictionary also at the Special Collection. Various birth dates are given Nettie Weaver lists 1728 and also lists as born 1 Aug 1717 in New Brunswick nj. Hendricus Hegeman was the witness to the marriage banns. Broderbund cd 172 p 261 . see scrapbook. this must have been his brother as the other Hendricus alive in 1741 was Hendricus son of Joseph and lived on Long Island . whatis unusual in the marriage banns is that he birth place (Sommerset on the Raritan) is memtioned for both husband and wife. also spelled Jan Hegeman, John hagerman 25 mar 1718 baptised Jan New Brusnwick Reform Dutch Church

He married JANE VAN HORN109 October 20, 1741 in Bucks Co., PA110, daughter of CHRISTIAN VAN HOORN and WILLIAMTJE VAN DYKE.
