Heatherly book, pg 78: "John, a Heatherly Family genealogist and historian lived in Canada and Boston, MA. He returned to Campbell County and Anderson County, Tennessee after his wife Loretta's death during World War II and worked in Oak Ridge. During this time, he carried his family history with plans to publish in a black satchel. His pages of handwritten notes were valued greatly by the Heatherly's Point Heatherly descendants. He died with heart problems on board a bus for a doctor's appointment in Boston. We understand that his family history with other earthly possessions passed to his wife's nephew, Harold I. Fairbanks of Boston, MA, as John left no direct descendants."
