    In an interview with Maude Haines Centers about 1960, TY Tabor received the
    following information from a Bible Miss Maude (also known as Granny Centers)
    referred to. The present location of the Bible is currently unknown and a
    photocopy was not made of the Bible records. It is unknown how each person
    was listed and if the death dates and married names were written in the
    Bible. The information as provided on the Personal History Sheet of William
    Christopher Haines #H-4 complied by TY Tabor (currently in the possession of
    Bill Napier) is as follows:

    Received May 2-06; term 2 yr.; hour 9pm; cause Typhoid fever
    *the handwriting on the Register of Deaths makes Haines look like Hames*
    According to an interview TY Tabor conducted with Maude Haines Centers, the
    family did not claim the body, and George is buried in an unmarked grave in
    Eddyville, KY

    MRS. EMMA D. CENTERS
    Mrs. Emma D. Centers, 77, died at 11:25 pm April 7 at her home in the
    Hopewell Community. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Odell Willoughby
    and Rev. Durwood Garmon at Hopewell Baptist Church at two o'clock Sunday
    afternoon. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Centers was a native of this
    county, born December 18, 1876, daughter of the late W.F. and Cynthia
    Thompson Hanes. She is survived by her husband, Mr. W.E. Centers, and
    daughter, Mrs. E.W. Lawson, both of Scottsville, Rt. 4; one son Truman
    Centers, Olmstead Falls, Ohio, and one brother, Ed Haines, Dunlap, Tennessee.
    Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
