    Will of "John Gay sen", dated 19 Jun 1729, witnesses sworn 29 Nov 1731, proved 22 Dec 1731, names wife Rebeckah; eldest son John Gay having received several parcels already gets a piece of land lying at Pond Plain in Dedham, three cow comon rights, one third of my right in the Great Seder Swamp in Walpole, he paying my daughter Rebeckah Smith widow of Christopher Smith late of Dedham; son Stephen Gay of Dedham, he also paying Rebeckah Smith; son Hezekiah Gay he providing for his mother Rebeckah Gay and paying his sister Rebeckah Smith and my granddaughter Rebeckah Jones wife to Consider Jones of Dedham. Wife and son Hezekiah to be executors.
