    "Hezekiah Gay, b. Dedham 3 July 1640 [DeVR 1], bp. Dedham 12 July 1640 [DeChR 23]; d. Dedham 28 November 1669 [DeVR 11]. 'Hezekiah Gay the son of John Gay of Deadham late deceased being aged about 27 years or 28 in time of his sickness expressed his mind in reference to the disposing of his estate 25.8 mo. 1669 [25 October 1669] as is here testified the deposition of Mary Wilson aged about 54 years & Hannah Hunting aged about 28 years,' bequeathing to 'my brother John Bord,' clothing, 'I think he have most need, they are hardest to be gotten there'; to 'my brother Nathaniel! Gay my pair of bullocks'; to 'my father my mare'; to "my brother John Gay my one-year-old colt'; 'my brother Jonathan Gay shall have the first colt of the mare that I gave my father & then being interrupted by pain, he lay still a while & after a little time his mother told him he had forgotten his brother Samuell, then he said I give my brother Samuell that which I have in my pocket whereupon his mother felt in his pocket & not finding anything said to him is it in this pocket, he said no it is in my other pocket & we heard no more of that'; to 'my mother Mr. Burrowes book'; to 'my sister Whiting that new book concerning Thomas Savage'; to 'my sisters Abigail & Judeth 5s. apiece'; to 'Goodwife Wilson 5s.' 'Mary Wilson further saith that she heard him pray his father that every one of his brothers & sisters might have something of his though he had forgotten them.' These depositions were sworn at court on 10 November 1669 [SPR 6:43]."
