John Fernihough was baptised on 28th August 1796 at Bottesford in Leicestershire, son of Sarah Fernihough, formerly Castledine, and her husband William Fernihough, a labourer. John had a twin sister called Ann. Sadly John died shortly after his baptism, being buried just four days later.
