On 23 Feb 1691, administration granted to "William Crafts and his wife on the estate of John Deering deceased, sone of the said Crafts and his wife".
[Presumably, John was born bef 1670 to be of legal age requiring administration in 1691.]
The first son John is assumed to have died young, because he is not mentioned in his grandmother's will of 12 Aug 1665. Administration of John Deering was granted to his mother and her second husband in 1691 at Kittery. If the first John d. young, then this refers to a second son named John, born after the date of the grandmother's will.
