Notes for JOHN COOPER: Copies of Original Wills from NC Archives, Currituck Co, NC (from Linda Noble): James Simmons of Currituck Co, NC gives to son Isles Simmons all of estate for his use at the discretion of exec., Isles to be bound out to a trade when of age to do so. If son dies without issue, then "such thing or things, creature or creatures, inventoried in a bill of sale past by Isles Cooper to me for sundry cattle and other things should be equally divided between William Ferebee's children and John Cooper's child, (Samuel) Cooper," Isles to continue under care and protection of William Ferebee. Executors of estate to be "beloved friend Isles Cooper" and Ferebee.
