Bruning, 87, of 356 S. Broadway, died this morning in Graham Hospital, Canton. His body was taken to the Hurley Funeral home where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Leslie R. Stewart, minister of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Bruning was born Oct. 21, 1867 in Mason county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Bruning. He was married Sept. 16, 1903 in Forest City to Ruth Jackson. Surviving are his widow; two sons, William J. Bruning, Havana; and John H. Bruning, Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandsons, Robert and Kenneth Bruning; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Werrs, Peoria; and two brothers, William Bruning, Peoria; and Arnold Bruning, Springfield.
