    In the original part of this article, his parents are identified as Sir John Brocket and Margaret Benstede. In the section updated 4 Nov 2001, it is stated that he was the son of John Brocket and Dorothy Hughson, leaving no place in the lineage for the Sir John Brocket who married Margaret Benstede. This appears to be an error. The chart based on the 1634 Visitation of Hertfordshire shows that his parents were Sir John Brocket and Margaret Benstede, and since the visitation was only 2-3 generations after their decease, it is unlikely to have been confused.

    Also, the dates work better if John Brocket and Dorothy Hughson were his grandparents, rather than his parents.
