Richard Banning was the son of John Banning. He was of of age by 1704, married the daughter of Richard Parnell, who gave them 1/2 of "Golden Lyone" in Q.A. County in 1715. He was dead by 1718. His will is on file in Queen Ann Co., MD. His children William, John and Richard were orphans and first given to their uncle Thomas Banning, then their uncle Andrew.
