    10. Experience Abell, married 1680, at Guilford, Conn., Deacon John Baldwin, born December 5, 1654 at Guilford, died January 5, 1705, at Lebanon, Conn., son of John and Hannah (Birchard) Baldwin. He went to Lebanon with his father in 1660, was one of the nine original members embodied in Church State, November 27, 1700, at Lebanon. He was chosen with Josiah Dewey one of the Deacons; was a Selectman in 1717.

    John Baldwin, Richard Bushnell, William Clarke and Caleb Abell testify to the nuncupative will of Deacon John Baldwin, of Lebanon, made 8 January 1704-5: son John to have double portion; younger sisters (of the son) referred to. Bond of Experience
    Baldwin, of Lebanon as administratrix on the estate of Deacon John Baldwin, 7 June 1705; sureties, Caleb Abell and Thomas Baldwin, of Norwich. Inventory taken 13 February 1704-5. Children's names: Experience, in age 21 years; John 18; Mary 13; Mahitabel 10; Tabitha 6. Mrs. Experience Baldwin made oath, 5 June 1705, to inventory of deceased husband's estate.
