From Udo's book: "......was the only settler from Venne who had not originated from the tenant class. His father Johann Henrich Vornholt (1768-1852) was the owner of the Half-Heir farm in Broxton 10 and his mother Marie Engel, born Vinke (1786-1856)."

Udo's book says that Johann Heinrich had 2 brothers, and 2 sisters, who left the paternal farm, and emigrated to Cincinnati.

The only other emigrant in the "White Creek" known to be of the Half-Heir class, was Gerhard Kreyenhagen (Kreinhagen) 1782-1848, for whom there is a www.werelate.org page.

Ordinarily, people of the "Half-Heir" class never migrated.
