Sailed from Rotterdam, arrived on Ship Tyger in Philly 19 Nov 1771. Signed on as an indentured servant with his wife 23 Nov 1771 to Peter Miller of Upper Milford, PA. Settled in Upper Milford along w/ Heinrich and Leonard (?), who came over at the same time and may have been brothers or 1st cousins.[] Weaver by trade. Served w/ Northampton Co Militia in Rev War. Name appears on veterans’ memorial in cemetery accross from Jer W. church. Tradition says he’s buried there, but exact location unknown.
