From research of Elizabeth Jones; the will of Joel Marshall Braziel with daughter, Leanna Coker is in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Will Book 1, page 47, dated 19 May 1829, proven 07 August 1829. The Braziels were in Pendleton, South Carolina at the same time as the Thomas Coker family. Joel Braziel 9 August 1799 purchased Pendleton land, Book H 1804-1807, page 515.
