Jesse purchased 363 acre Lows Arcadia in Queen Anne's County for $7270 in 1823. In 1840 he and Priscilla of Frederick Co VA sold it to Thomas Comegys for $4000.

The funeral of Mrs Cornelia Frye consort of Rev Joseph Frye was from the residence of Jesse Comegys in Baltimore.

Jesse served in Capt Ringgold's Company of the 6th Regiment.
