Jeremiah Main, son of Exekiel Main and Mary Main, m. Mrs. Ruth Brown. It is not certainly known whose daughter she was: but she, with her daughter Ruth, were admitted to the first church of Stomington, Conn. and baptized July 16, 1699. Mr. Jeremiah Main was admitted May 18,1712: d. Nov. 11, 1727; m. Oct 11, 1699. On Feb. 22, 1727, a church was formed in what is now No, Stonington, Conn. and, among others, Mr. Jeremiah Main and wife Ruth were dismissed by request, in order to be embodied in church estate in No, Stonington, in which society they were residing.---WheelerS1
