Jennie May Todd. Born Oct. 14, 1968, the youngest child of John Allen Todd. Graduated from Monmouth College in 1890 specializing in music. Gave music lessons to children. On Sept. 12, 1901, she was married to Ira I. Stukey at Canon City, CO. Ira had a marvelous bass voice and she being an accomplished pianist, they were prominent in musical circles. An old photo shows Ira in a parade with horses and buggies, with a large sign advertising the Stukey Concrete Co. Though modest and retiring, Jennie was steadfast and faithful in her devotion to her family and friends. They had no children but adopted a baby girl three months of age and named her Hazel May. They moved from Denver to Santa Ana, CA, in 1912.
