  10. ↑ "Mrs. Jennie Rinkel, 84, of Greenfield Mills, Route 3, Howe, diedSaturday, December 28 in her home. She had been in declining health forthe last several months. Mrs. Rinkel was born in Hudson, and October24, 1879, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Tubbs Ritter. Her marriageto Henry E. Rinkel was solemnized May 1st, 1898 in Steuben County. Hepreceded her in death December 2, 1945. Mrs. Rinkel was a member of theGreenfield Mills Christian Church and the Ladies Aid. She is survivedby one son, George, of Greenfield Mills; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Watson ofIndianapolis [note: this was a foster daughter]; two grandchildren;eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Ritter of Angola, andBert Ritter of Hudson; and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Skelly of Ray. Funeralservices were conducted Monday, December 30 at the Christian Church inGreenfield mills. The Rev. Virgil Peters of Grabell officiated,assisted by Rev. Steven Aultman Pastor of the Church. Burial was inGreenlawn Cemetery at Orland"
