The funeral of Supervisor Jefferson G Jackson was held at 1:16 o'clock this afternoon at the home, 20 Sturges street, and at Odd Fellows Temple 299 Chenango street, at 2 o'clock. Rev Dr Bergeh A Brown of the Calvary Baptist Church preached the sermon. He spoke highly of Supervisor Jackson and held that his life is Worthy of emulation. There were present several members of the Carpenters' Union, of Sunlight Lodge, Daughters of Rebekah, of Parlor City Lodge, IOOF, and of Good Will Encampment.

The bearers were: E R Dunlap, C J Moffatt. Levi Truesdell, J P Herrick, A D Thompson and George Raymond. Burial was in Floral Park Cemetery.
