Born 1659, the 2nd Jeanne in this family (other born in 1653). [Was this one really born around 1664, as on 1686 census, though?] A footnote says that among the old Acadians, one was often given at baptism the name of one's father or mother, and more often perhaps that of the godfather or godmother. It is thus that it happens that two children, or even three, in the same family might have the same name.
