Jean Jacob remarried there on 31 Dec 1662 to Susane Cabot. There are no other records of this surname in Jursey before his arrival. He probably immigrated there from the Southwest of England. So as odd as it may sound it appears he had a first wife Susanne probably married in England before his arrival and then a second wife Susanne Cabot.
