Jean-Baptiste DUGAST, born about 1719, a ploughman, married 1st about 1741 to Marguerite BENOIST (no parents listed); six children listed. He married 2nd about 1755 to Madeleine MOYSE, who died at sea during the crossing to France; two children. Jean-Baptiste, widower of Madeleine MOYSE, disembarked with four children at St. Malo on 23 Jan 1759 from one of the "Five ships." Two other children, Perpetue [age 5] and Olivier [age 9] disembarked with their uncle and did not rejoin their father until 1762. He lived at St. Suliac from 1759-1760. He married 3rd on 22 Sep 1760 at St. Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France to Anne BOURG, widow of Jean-Baptiste BLANCHARD; three children. Jean-Baptiste DUGAST, carpenter, born about 1719, married 1st [sic] about 1741 to Madeleine MOYSE, who died during the crossing from Acadie to France. He married again 22 Sep 1760 at Saint-Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France to Anne BOURG, widow of Jean-Baptiste BLANCHARD; son buried 1780. He and Anne BOURG and family of 5 persons were in the Fourth Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes from 6 Mar to 13 Mar 1776. He and wife Anne BOURG, a daughter and granddaughter were Family #16 aboard "Le Bon Papa." References
