Janet d. 16oct1841, aged 30, and was buried at Moneydie (D. Sangster, gravestone). Janet, eldest daughter of Robert Hope Moncrieff, writer, Perth, was married to Rev. John THOMSON, minister of Moneydie, by Rev. W.A. Thomson at Athole Pl., Perth, jun1831 (Caledonian Mercury). Janet married Rev. John W. Thomson of Moneydie (“House of Moncrieff”, p. 118). In her daughter Laura's marriage record, Janet was described as deceased (scotlandspeople). In 1841 John W. Thomson (1803 Scotland, minister), Mrs. Janet (1811 Perthshire) and Laura (1838 Perthshire) were at Moneydie (census).
