Janet married John Clendenin

From Clendenin Weir Moore family

John Clendenin, the immigrant was born c.1704 in Dumfries, Scotland & his will was proved June 14, 1797 in Chester Co., Pennsylvania. Married Janet Huston, who died in 1797, within three weeks of her husband. Janet was a sister of Samuel Huston who died in 1784. Samuel was their neighbor. They attended Silver Spring Presbyterian Church. John & Janet’s remains are interred in the Pine Hill graveyard, on the farm, which was first owned by Samuel Huston. This burying ground was in its time famous. It is located in the western part of the farm, near the edge of a precipitous hill.
