Personal History

Jane Kittredg(e), daughter of John Kittredg and Hannah French, was born 27 1mo. [March] 1703, in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][2] She died 25 June 1779, in Tewksbury (formerly part of Billerica),[3][4] of dysentery and dropsy.[3]

Thomas Kittredg and Jane Kittredg (who were first cousins) were married 25 May 1727, in Billerica, by Samuel Ruggles. The town records of Billerica list the births of their children, Thomas, Jonathan, Abigail, Thomas (second), and Joshua. The town records of Tewksbury list the births of their children, Sarah, Johanna, and Mary. Their first two children died in a house fire 5 October 1729.
